Curly Updo:
Most people opt for a curly updo. Curly hair updos are not difficult to do. With only a few easy steps you can successfully create one similar to those that you have seen on television and in magazines.
There are several variations for an updo.
Arjuna Bravia suggests the Curling Twists and the Sculpting Curls:
Curling Twists: This is a great updo for anyone who has curly or wavy hair that is below the shoulders in length. You will need basic bobby pins to pin as you go.
Simply gather all of your hair as if you are going to do a pony tail and twist it until the entire length is completely twisted. Now wrap your hair around into a coiled bun. The coils should be on top of each other. Take the bobby pins and pin off the end and random spots to hold in place. You will now have a classic style that looks like you spent a fortune.
Sculpting curls: Another amazing style that is great for anyone who is looking for a more defined look. You will need a container of sculpting gel, a curling iron, bobby pins and a hair band to hold the ponytail.
With this look you need to smooth down the front of your hair and gather the rest into a pony tail that is situated high on your head. Divide the loose part of the hair and run some sculpting gel or cream into it. Once it is dried you can begin curling each section. After each curl is done keep them wrapped up and pin them down to your head. The look will be elegant and you will likely get many compliments.
